The Desert Song

Verse 1:
This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

Verse 2:
And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

Chorus:
And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon forged against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

Verse 3:
And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

Bridge:
All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

Verse 4:
This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've recieved I will sow

My prayer

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your Kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

Rely on Him who gives you strength and hope

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is
the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
--Isaiah 40:28-31

Whose strength are you relying on to live each day? Do you depend on yourself or God?
Is your hope in your study and career or friends or in God?

how deep the Father's love for us, how vast beyond all measure

how deep the Father's love for us, how vast beyond all measure
that He should give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure

PRAY

James 5:13 Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise.

Don't forget to PRAY regularly. You need to talk to your Father!

Facing hardships?

James 5:11 Indeed we call blessed those who showed endurance. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

I've once heard this quote: "God does not let any experience of pain or suffering go to waste." He can use the pains in our lives for His glory too, so if you're facing hardships in your life, think of how you can glorify God amidst that.

This blog is no longer "tiap-tiap hari"

Ok, so this is no longer tiap-tiap hari. I don't usually like to give up on things I started, but I've been thinking a lot and I think this blog is unneccessary so I'm gonna abandon it and occasionally post things when I feel like it. I'm sorry, but I need to focus on more important things in life.

I'll just use this blog as a place where I can post old photos that I have rediscovered and edited. It'll be fun. When I feel like procrastinating, I'll come here. Ok, that's what I've decided. (sorry, I'm actually talking to myself as I type this...)

This blog will not be an obligation to me anymore, it'll be something that I occasionally do...fun fun~~

Galatians 1:3-5 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
